My birthday cake!! :o

Sooooooooo it was my birthday last Thursday (11-09)
I got 17 :D yay
and ofcourse I made a birthday cake!
so don't get to excited right now,
I'm not a prfeccional baker
I like to cook and bake though
But it's no 5 feet tall cake with a cherry on the top.
no, it's not, it's a 10 feet tall cake with a strawberry :D
okay fine >:( it's maybe 4 inch tall. hopefully.
ah well it was tasty and I still am proud of it.
so there we go..

I will tel you a little story..
So I was finished with baking the cake right..
I wanted to start decorating and I saw it in my head how I wanted it to look like.
I bought white fondant and I started rolling it out, then I found out I didn;t have enough.
I only ha enough to cover the top and not the sides, so I did.
I smeared the cake in with buttercreme and put on the fondant.
then I was like.. hmm this actually looks kinda ugly ;p so I looked in the vault and I found green fondant and these red little balls. okay I can work with that.
So I pressed the little red balls on the sides and I though it was pretty BUT.. the cake wasn't done yet ofcourse.
So I texted my friend and said: hey! You have all these baking supplies right? can I borrow some?
and she was like: helll yeahh girlll ofcourse you can, you are the loveliest person in the world and I absolutly would give you anything ;D
okay.. maybe not that but she said yes.
so I borrowed this really cool thing where you can make these little flowers and roses with.
So I made these roses with the green fondant but only green was kind of boring.
I head over to my basement again and I found food coloring. I though why not dye my left over white fondant light blue. so I did and made roses from that as well.
I put them on the edge so you couldn't see the edge of the fondant which made it much and much prettier.
Still the top was only white, So I found some pure chocolate and guess what, I melted it and made my own piping bag.
I wanted to do this fun creation on the cake and then this came out..
yes I messed up some parts but I think the cake turned out pretty good.
and the most important thing is that he was very yummy!

btw.. the inside of the cake was blue.. which was excidently but that's a different story.
dough it was a nice suprise!
